ROMANCE: THE BIBLICAL VIEW POINT, LEARN HOW TO APPLY IT IN YOUR MARRIAGE.

SONGS OF SOLOMON 3:1-5, 4:1-11

“By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.

I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.

The watchmen that go about the city found me: to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?

It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother’s house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.

I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.”

Most commentators think that what the girl is relating here must have happen in a dream. Indicating that her lover is in her heart day and night. Although fast asleep in her room, she continues to search for her lover all night long, she says, I looked for the one my heart loves. This is no doubt a fire of love in the life of the girl. But she did not find him, she therefore resolves to look for him around the city, through its streets and squares, yet she did not find him. Refusing to give up her relentless search, she encounters the watchmen doing their nightly rounds in the city, it may appear foolish to us, but she asked them, have you seen my lover, the one my hearts loves. Hear her surprise and action when she finds her lover: scarcely have I passed them when I found the one my heart loves, she continue, I held him and will not let him go. Just as many couples have done today they held the one their heart love and never let him/her go.

 SONGS OF SOLOMON 4:1-12

“Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves’ eyes within thy locks: thy hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead.

Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the washing; whereof every one bear twins, and none is barren among them.

Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: thy temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within thy locks.

Thy neck is like the tower of David builded for an armoury, whereon there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men.

Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies.

Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.

Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee.

Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions’ dens, from the mountains of the leopards.

Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, with one chain of thy neck.

How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse! how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thine ointments than all spices!

Thy lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon.

A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.”

In chapter four from verse one, we hear the bride groom admiring the beauty of his bride in the most extravagant and erotic language beginning with the words: How beautiful you are my darling! Oh how beautiful! He admires her eyes, hair, teeth, lips, mouth, necks and breasts. For the first time he called her my wife or spouse in verse 8, 10 and 11.

The above illustrates how individual feels before consummating and consolidating marriage,  after marriage what next?

Couples need to demonstrate love / romance in their marriage. I know some will be amazed to see such words as “thy breast”, “thy lips”, “thy legs”, “thy eyes”, etc in the bible. Do not be amazed, God created everything in your spouse for your pleasure so enjoy it together there is no marriage in heaven. Any marriage without romance is a dead marriage, you can revive yours today by applying all you read in this site, www.loveclinictower.com

Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appeal. I must say you’ve done a fantastic job with this. Also, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Chrome. Excellent Blog!
